During this hot summer, how many glasses of water are enough each day? Bastyr University has guidelines to help you recognize your need for hydration.
Here are the highlights.
- There are 4 ways to tell if you are properly hydrated.
- Urine: clear or a very light yellow color
- Stool: easy to pass without straining
- Skin: pull up the skin on the back of your hand and it should bounce back to its original position quickly.
- Thirst: If you’re thirsty, drink water.
