The C.A.M. Report
Complementary and Alternative Medicine: Fair, Balanced, and to the Point
  • About this web log

This blog is intended as an objective and dispassionate source of information on the latest CAM research. Since my background is in pharmacy and allopathic medicine, I view all CAM as advancing through the development pipeline to eventually become integrated into mainstream medical practice. Some will succeed while others fail. But all are treated fairly here.

    Fibromyalgia AWARE

The National Fibromyalgia Association publishes Fibromyalgia AWARE, a magazine targeted to patients with fibromyalgia.

It has been available for free online since the beginning of this year.

A recent issue for your review is here.

In addition to general articles under the heading, “Lifestyle,” “Health,” and “Research,” a series of articles in the latest issue covers issues related to disability in people with fibromyalgia.

    The bottom line?

It’s a good resource for patients and healthcare providers who interact with people suffering from fibromyalgia.
