Bio mapping: A complementary way to reduce stress
More technology to our rescue.
Bio Mapping is a research project that explores new ways for people to gather and use information about their bodies.
According to Christian Nold, the Bio Mapping tool allows the wearer to record their galvanic skin response — a simple indicator of their emotional arousal — in conjunction with their geographical location. The data can then be used to plot a map that highlights points of high and low arousal.
By sharing and reflecting on these data, maps can be made that show where we as a community feel stressed and excited.
Think of the possibilities.
